Taxi tests and getting current

Posted on Sunday 22 April 2007

To get current Ken Pidcock agreed to fly his J160 up to us to instruct me. It had been 18 months since I had flown the little Jabi, it may have been 10 years, I had forgotten everything I had learned. After 4-5 hours I was still a novice, I have never flown so badly. The weather was turning marginal, so decided to leave it till the next day. As it happened the weather was very ordinary with only one window for Ken and Laurie to fly back to Orange

Thanks to both of you for your help (and patience).

The weather stayed bad for the rest of the week, so the first flight was put off again.
